Centre Philosophy
Piptree has developed their philosophy based on the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (belonging, being and becoming), with the aim of extending and enriching children’s learning from birth to five years and through the transition of school. They integrate the research and passion of some of the great European pioneers in education, such as Johann Pestalozzi, Jean Piaget, Friedrich Froebel, and Maria Montessori, alongside various national and international theoretical studies. The centre’s ultimate objective is to assist in developing children into life-long learners who are equipped with the skills and motivation to teach themselves as they develop.
What parents are saying
‘We could not be happier with the care our two children (4 year-old and 1 year-old) receive at Piptree Tanah Merah! The staff are so caring, dedicated and loving with the children. It really is their home away from home. Every single one goes above and beyond to ensure they receive the best care and early education possible. The communication with parents is excellent, and the organisation and leadership of the staff by Kylie is incredibly professional. Whenever I have a concern about my child’s behaviour or development, they are the first people I turn to for advice. Quite a few of the staff have their own children who attend the centre, so it really does feel like a family environment.’ – Natasha B.
‘I have been through the centre a couple of times in the lead up to enrolling my baby, and can’t speak more highly of the people I met (I met room staff, the cook, office, etc) and how welcoming and open the staff was. Before doing my teaching degree, I worked in child care, and feel so comfortable about when I return to work and the Care she will receive!’ – Casey T.
‘What an outstanding childcare that meets to every child’s needs. My son loves being there, has so many friends and is loved and adored by the staff. It’s such a welcoming place, where every staff member knows your child’s name. They provide a service only a parent could dream about and when sharing my experience with parents of other centres, they are astonished with the additional things they continue to provide.’ – Sue T.
